Meet the three valedictorians for the Class of 2023

In a first for the University, three valedictorians represented the Class of 2023. Samantha Bond '23, Theo Modla '23 and Mairead Nee '23 – all psychology majors – were honored to represent the Department of Psychology during Salve Regina's undergraduate Commencement on May 21.

Dubay learns to combine dance and psychology for healing

As a double major in dance and psychology, Morgan Dubay '24 is combining her passions, helping her to envision how the arts can be therapeutic and transformative. "For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a dance movement therapist," she said. "Whether it's basic movement or grooves, movement heals."

Abane joins the Peace Corps to serve in Rwanda

From holding an executive position in the Student Government Association to devoting time to her peers as a resident advisor, Belise Abane '22 kept herself busy during her four years at Salve Regina. These experiences will serve her well as she joins the Peace Corps in her native Rwanda, focusing on the health and wellness of newborns and mothers.

Lindenburg-Pennoyer is valedictorian for Class of 2022

For psychology major Nolan Lindenburg-Pennoyer '22, the honor of valedictorian was one that he worked hard to achieve during his four years at Salve Regina. "I would like to say it came as a total surprise, but it really was my goal from my first day of classes at Salve," he said. "I put in a lot of dedicated and determined work to get to this point."
