Students completing a master’s degree in holistic leadership take a minimum of 12 courses (36 credits).

- Laboratory in Interpersonal Communication Skills
- Toward Synthesis: The Body/Mind Connection
- Introduction to Holistic Leadership Perspectives
- Leading Holistically
- Creative Intervention Skills Part I
- Creative Intervention Skills Part II
- Leading System Change and Transformation
- Toward Synthesis: Psychological Health, the Search for Meaning and the Wisdom Traditions
Students may choose one of the following five courses as part of the required curriculum:
- Developmental Issues in Counseling and Leadership
- Systems Theory and Family Therapy
- The Psychology of Group Process
- Research Methods
Students also take two electives chosen from a list of offerings in holistic counseling. With permission from the program director, electives may be substituted to reflect a student’s personal, career and professional goals.
Students interested in pursuing an individualized concentration aimed at meeting their personal and academic goals adhere to the program’s core curriculum, yet choose electives tailored to their focus area. Students who would like to design an individualized concentration should contact the program director.
