Graduate Studies

Salve Regina offers nine master’s degree programs with options for concentrations and a doctoral program in humanities. Many programs also provide options for four-course graduate certificates. Classes are offered at our Newport campus, our Blackstone Valley Visitor Center site in Pawtucket and online.

The University is continually striving to respond to the unique needs of adult students. Whether you take one course at Salve Regina or enroll in a degree program, you will experience the integration of knowledge and personal values and develop greater competency in both theory and practice.

Online Information Sessions

The Office of Graduate Studies will offer online information sessions on the following dates:

  • Monday, June 11 at noon
  • Monday, July 9 at noon
  • Monday, Aug. 6 at noon
  • Monday, Sept. 10 at noon
  • Monday, Nov. 5 at noon
  • Monday, Dec. 10 at noon

Graduate Program in Humanities

This course investigates technology's impact on the human condition throughout history. Considered in this investigation are advances in technology based on human ingenuity, observation and experimentation. Practical examples are taken from fields such as agriculture, communication, education, manufacturing, medicine and business.

The graduate programs in business administration, management, and healthcare administration and management are accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education. Salve Regina recently received a reaffirmation of accreditation from the IACBE, effective through November 2018.
