Students majoring
in theatre arts take a minimum of 13 courses (38 credits). Majors are expected
to maintain a GPA of 2.7 in all theatre courses and participate in four
productions, two as crew members and two as performers.

- Studies in Shakespeare

- Dramatic Theory and Criticism
- Theatre Management
- Thesis Preparation
- Senior Thesis
Students also choose two courses from the following list of
electives:

- Theatre for Children and Youth
- Theatre Production
Students who are committed to a professional career in the field or who
plan to attend graduate school have the option to concentrate in acting or
technical theatre. Each concentration requires a minimum of five additional
courses (11 credits).
Concentration in Acting

Concentration in Technical
Theatre
Students who choose to concentrate in technical theatre take the

Minor in Theatre Arts
Students completing a minor in
theatre arts take a minimum of eight courses (18 credits). Minors are expected
to maintain a GPA of 2.7 in all
theatre courses and participate
in two productions, one as a crew member and one as a performer.
