Emma Hookway ’08
Music Educator, Newport County Public Schools

Hookway graduated from the music education program at Salve Regina and is in her third year teaching full-time in the Newport County area. As a music educator, her duties have included general music in grades K-8, beginning band, chorus and strings, and middle school band and orchestra. Hookway led her middle school orchestra to a gold medal performance at the Great East Festivals in 2009. She served as the band manager for the Rhode Island Music Educators Association’s 2010 All-State Junior Band and will again manage an ensemble in 2011.

Jennifer Corsi Zembruski ’98
Chief Operating Officer, Palace Theater, Waterbury, Conn.

Zembruski has worked in program management at the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in Hartford, Conn., and as administrative director of the Waterbury (Conn.) Symphony Orchestra. She joined the Palace Theater in 2004 as director of programs and operations. In her current position, Zembruski oversees the planning, monitoring and management of all aspects relating to national touring and concert productions. She also works with promoters and local arts organizations that rent the building, provides guest services for patrons, agents and performers, and coordinates special events and venue operations. Zembruski has worked with numerous dignitaries and celebrities from the performing arts and public service arenas.
