On-Campus Housing

Relive your college days by staying on campus in a residence hall. Housing is available as part of your registration for only $60 per person per night.

Alumni are welcome to make requests for roommates and residence halls. We will do our best to accommodate requests, but cannot guarantee roommates and/or locations due to the limited availability of dorm rooms.

Please note:

  • Roommates cannot be assigned until all parties have confirmed payment.
  • Please provide your requested roommate names and class year in the comments box when registering.
  • There will be boxes provided in the residence halls for key cards to be returned at the end of your stay. Failure to return a key card will result in a $30 charge for each unreturned card.

Alumni Award Nominations

We encourage alumni of all classes to nominate classmates for an alumni award. These prestigious awards will be presented by President Kelli J. Armstrong during the reunion brunch on Sunday, June 9. Awardees are chosen by past alumni award winners and esteemed staff members of Salve Regina, respective to each award.

Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely! We have plenty of family-friendly events that your kids can enjoy. They can get a taste of life as a future Seahawk by staying in the dorms on an extra-long twin bed. Show off the best of Newport by bringing them to the alumni block party, where there will be food trucks and fun activities for all ages. While you are enjoying the all-class Dinner, childcare will be available for kids ages 3-14.

Keep an eye out for Camp Salve activities to come. These will include things like yoga, Zumba, use of the fitness center, etc. There will be no formal registration for Camp Salve activities so anyone can join in if they are interested. If you have a talent that everyone can enjoy, email alumni@salve.edu and let us know.

There will be a shuttle service available on Friday evening from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. looping from Ochre Court to downtown Newport. Saturday, the shuttle will be looping through campus (with the main stop being Ochre Court) and downtown Newport from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Make sure you get back in time for the all-class dinner at 6 p.m.

There is housing available on campus in the residence halls. It is available as you register for the events of the weekend for a low rate. Keep in mind, this is a dorm room with an extra-long twin bed, just as it was in your college days. Hall placement will be based on class years, as we try to keep classes near each other. You may request to be in the same room as your friend during the registration process. We will not place people in a room together unless there is a mutual request. You will learn your dorm placement during check in.

If you prefer staying in a hotel, you may check out Salve's hotel partners.

Anyone is welcome to attend, whether you are new to the alumni community or graduated years ago. We can't wait to have you back in your home away from home.

If this is your situation, please call the Office of Alumni and Family Engagement at (401) 341-2346 and ask for Gill Letendre so you may discuss accommodation.

To pick up your T-shirt included in general admission, you should go to check-in on Friday or Saturday. During check-in, you will also receive your welcome packet which will include important information such as your name tag, campus resources and itinerary.

If you are staying in the residence halls for the weekend, you must check out. There will be boxes provided in the residence halls for key cards to be returned at the end of your stay.
