International Student Support
The Center for Global Education and Fellowships supports international students before they arrive at Salve, through their education here and beyond, and offers resources to help with immigration, academic and cultural adjustment, advising, employment and more.
Admitted International Students
We help prospective international students throughout the application process and assist admitted students with all pre-arrival steps, including travel documentation, applying for a visa and getting to Newport.
Current F-1 Students
Once you begin your studies at Salve, we can help you with federal and state regulations affecting international students (immigration, taxes) as well as support you academically, culturally and personally.
Exchange Students
Exchange students may study at Salve for a semester or a full academic year and, as full-time students, have access to all programs and services we offer - from extracurricular activities to counseling services, computer and library resources.
English for Academic Purposes
Academically qualified students who need support to become fluent in English reading, writing and speaking can be offered full admission to Salve with our English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program.
