To earn the double major in mathematics and secondary education, students complete the courses required for a B.A. in mathematics (47 credits) and must also meet the requirements for secondary education. Coursework is designed to meet the standards published by the Mathematical Association of America.

Students majoring in mathematics fulfill their Core Curriculum science requirement by taking PHY205: Principles of Physics I and PHY206: Principles of Physics II.
