What's My Why?
I am honored to teach at my alma mater, where I integrate extensive leadership experience in both for-profit and nonprofit sectors, consulting expertise and global travel into a dynamic learning environment. With professional insights shaped by visits to over 30 countries, I emphasize organizational development, strategic planning and cultural competence in my teaching. I value diversity, ethical responsibility and effective communication, fostering these principles through mentorship and engagement in Salve’s small-class setting. My goal is to cultivate students’ analytical and leadership skills, preparing them to navigate complex organizational challenges and contribute meaningfully to their professions and communities.
Professional Experience
I remain actively engaged in research, scholarship and community service, serving on the boards of The Newport String Project and Friends of the Waterfront. My research focuses on artificial intelligence, generational studies, organizational behavior and best practices in learning management systems for online education. Additional work has explored teleworking, corporate social responsibility, benefit corporations, e-textbook usage, teamwork and electronic monitoring in the workplace. I have presented at national and international conferences and delivered talks to global businesses and professional organizations. My publications include a book, encyclopedia chapters and articles in scholarly journals. These academic and professional experiences enrich my teaching, allowing me to bridge theory and practice while equipping students with essential skills in leadership, ethics, data analysis and effective communication for today’s dynamic business environment.
