Graduate program in health care administration and management ranked among nation’s best
Salve Regina’s master’s degree program in health care administration and management has been featured as a top program in the country by Best Online Colleges (www.bestonlinecollges.org). The 2014 list includes 34 schools and combines elements like enrollment statistics and retention rates with analysis of publicly available data from the National Center of Education Statistics (NCES).
The website selected master’s degree programs where students have the opportunity to earn their degrees online or through programs where a significant portion of the curriculum could be obtained online. Included were accredited programs and online programs that offered the same courses as the campus-based curriculum.
Other considerations were the quality of the health care program and if the programs or the college were ranked/mentioned by publications such as U.S. News and World Report, Princeton Review and other publications. Health care programs that had faculty that were health care practitioners or had courses that were developed or recommended by health care professionals were also used to develop the rankings.
