Current F-1 Students

Once you have begun your studies at Salve Regina, the Center for Global Education and Fellowships is available on a regular basis, assisting with federal and state regulations affecting international students (immigration, taxes) as well as supporting you academically, culturally and personally.

Attending Salve Regina as an international student requires many forms. Some satisfy the needs of the U.S. government, while others are required by the University. Proper planning is crucial for the timely processing of applications.

Most of the documents below are in PDF format and the majority of the forms are fillable, provided your PDF viewer supports fillable forms. If you do not have a PDF viewer, you may download Acrobat Reader for free.

Transferring to Salve Regina

If you already have valid F-1 status, complete the required transfer-in form and the financial verification form and request that the international student advisor at your current school release your SEVIS record to Salve Regina.

Your Salve Regina I-20, endorsed for pending transfer, will be mailed to you as soon as the release date for your SEVIS record (as determined by your previous school) is reached. Once you are enrolled at Salve Regina and we have confirmed your registration, the transfer process will be complete.

If you are in F-1 status, a new I-20 will be issued to you. Be sure to report to our office as soon as possible after your arrival. If you are currently in the United States in a visa classification other than F-1 or J-1, please contact our office for more information.
