Haley Andrews' works have been featured in the BandChicago Dance Festival, Hubbard Street Dance, Versatility Dance Fest, MashUp Dance's International Women's Day Festival and R.I. Women's Choreography Project. A freelance artist, Andrews danced with the company T2 Dance in Boulder, Colorado and now performs with artists throughout New England. She founded her own dance company, Andrews Movement, focused on creating queer art on queer bodies. An in-demand educator, she teaches classes at Urbanity Dance, AS220 and Metamorphosis. Andrews is an adjunct professor at Salve, where she teaches contemporary and sets work. This fall, she will pursue an MFA at the Trinity Laban Conservatory in London.

"As an adult learner, I initially approached returning to academia with hesitation; however, Salve’s faculty quickly alleviated those concerns by delivering coursework that was timely, relevant and highly engaging. The intimate class sizes fostered meaningful dialogue and constructive debate within a supportive virtual setting. The program’s flexible scheduling was essential in allowing me to pursue full-time graduate studies while continuing my career as a project manager. "Choosing to get involved in faculty-led research was one of my best decisions at Salve. I never envisioned myself researching preconception PFOS exposures and working with fruit flies. However, this research ultimately became the basis of my senior thesis, and I learned valuable skills that I carried with me into graduate school. Choosing to take chances, and to take advantage of unexpected opportunities, can be incredibly rewarding."
