Stoneacre accommodates junior and senior
students. Built for New York banker and railroad magnate John Ellis, Stoneacre
was the carriage house for the Stoneacre estate. The main house was razed in 1962 after a fire. The estate was designed by
William Appleton Potter, with Frederick Law Olmstead providing the original landscape
design. Salve Regina acquired the property, located on Ruggles Avenue, in 2007.
