Minor in Human Services

The minor in human services is designed for students majoring in disciplines other than social work. To complete the minor, students take a minimum of six courses (19 credits).

Required courses:

  • Social Problems: Analysis by Race, Class and Gender
  • A History of Social Work and Social Welfare Policy
  • Human Behavior and Diversity I and II
  • Two upper-level social work electives
