Commencement Week FAQ
How many tickets can I purchase?
With the exception of the Commencement Ball, Commencement Week events are for graduating seniors only. Seniors may purchase one (1) ticket per event. Graduates may purchase one (1) additional ticket for a guest to the Commencement Ball. The deadline to purchase Commencement Week tickets is 5 p.m. Friday, May 9. However, seniors may purchase tickets for the Senior Cocktail Reception at the door. Graduates are encouraged to purchase tickets early as some events are capped due to occupancy rates and fire codes.
Why is there a deadline for orders?
Events take planning. Seniors are asked to purchase tickets in a timely manner in order to give service providers ample time to prepare for Commencement Week events. Ticket registration forms received after the deadline will not be honored.
Can I pick up tickets in person?
Seniors are encouraged to pick up their tickets in person at the Office of Student Activities located in 012 Wakehurst Student Center. Graduates must bring their event registration form and payment (or credit card receipt) with them when they register in person.
Can I use a credit card to purchase tickets?
Seniors may use a credit card to pay for tickets at the Business Office located on the second floor of Ochre Court. Seniors must bring their Commencement Week ticket registration form with them to the Business Office. Once tickets have been paid for at the Business Office, seniors must bring their receipt and ticket registration form to the Office of Student Activities to pick up their tickets.
Can I get a refund?
Student Activities will refund unused tickets, provided tickets are returned prior to 5 p.m. Friday, May 9. There will be no refunds after that date.
