COMMITTEES INTERNAL COMMITTEES:
Activities Funding Board (AFB) Allocates funds collected from the student activity fee and reviews funding requests submitted by officially recognized student organizations.
Parking Appeals Board: Reviews petitions for parking ticket appeals and addresses parking concerns.
Public Relations Committee Provides publicity for meetings and special events. Manages exposure in campus media and Web site.
Community Service Committee Organizes OXFAM Hunger Banquet.
Constitution and Election Code Committee Reviews and updates SGA constitution. Introduces constitutional amendments.
AD-HOC COMMITTEES: Food services subcommittee Meets with SODEXHO representatives to address questions and concerns regarding dining services.
Information technology subcommittee Ensures that Salve Regina's technology department works with students to provide current and efficient services.
Student health awareness subcommittee Promotes cooperation between Health Services and other university offices to develop healthy living decisions among students.
Safety and security subcommittee Recommends initiatives to advance campus security through collaboration between the Office of Safety and Security.
Residence subcommittee Works with the residence halls to promote programs, and to be the voice of students' problems or concerns.
Student involvement subcommittee Integrates and collaborates with the student body to enhance participation and attendance at campus-wide events.
Campus Ministry subcommittee: Assists Campus Ministry in special events and creates awareness of and participation in events.
Multicultural subcommittee Encourages diversity and promotes multicultural events at Salve Regina.
Library subcommittee Supports communication between the library and students through focus groups and dialogue.
Mission subcommittee Demonstrates understanding of the university mission and investigates ways to foster the mission among students.
