Salve Regina's Student Government Association serves as the liaison between students, faculty, staff and administrators.
The Student Government Association is pleased to announce the results of the survey it distributed to students in O’Hare on Thursday. Throughout the course of the day, 209 students voiced their opinions on various issues, including moving the ATM from Wakehurst to O’Hare, a future Salve Regina yearbook, extended Health Services hours and late night pizza at the Sky Ranch Grill.
Due to the persistence of SGA president Shane Murray ’09, late night pizza will soon be available in the Sky Ranch Grill from 8 p.m. to midnight one night per week. Pizzas will be cooked in the Miley cafeteria and students will have the chance to pick them up in Sky Ranch. Toppings will include cheese, pepperoni, vegetarian and buffalo chicken. SGA plans to keep students updated on the particulars of the pizza project. Thursday is the night of choice as selected by more than 90 percent of voters.
The Student Government Association thanks students for taking the time to vote. The organization is confident that some of these changes can be implemented in the near future. Students are also invited to drop by the next SGA meeting, scheduled for 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, as the meeting has a “Bring a Friend” theme. In addition, a Sodexo Dining Services representative will be present to hear concerns students may have.
Total Votes: 209 (Five voters didn’t specify class standing)
NOTE: Percentages represent students that are in favor of the proposed changes on the survey.
