Off-Campus Living
Forty percent of the university’s 2,100 undergraduates live off-campus, fostering a sense of cooperation and respect between the Salve Regina and Newport communities.
SRU-NPD Partnership
For more than a decade, Salve Regina has been working with city of Newport representatives, most notably the Newport Police Department, to address underage and abusive drinking. The university has initiated a program with its students, particularly those living off-campus, to educate them about the municipal laws, university policies and the expectations of the students to be good neighbors.
