Give to Salve

The tradition of giving to Salve Regina began in 1947 with Ochre Court, the first gift received by the Sisters of Mercy. Like all universities, Salve Regina depends on donor support to further its central mission of preparing men and women to make a difference in the world. The continued generosity of alumni, parents and friends supports our academic community and enhances our unique learning environment.

Every day, Salve Regina University students are given the opportunity to learn, live and make a difference thanks to the generous support of donors to the annual fund. Make a gift every year to ensure that you make a difference in our students' lives every day.
Charitable IRA rollover extended

The charitable IRA rollover has been extended through Dec. 31. In 2013, donors aged 70 1/2 or older can ask their IRA custodian to transfer up to $100,000 to a public charity. The transfer may count as part of the minimum distribution, allowing donors to avoid claiming it as taxable income. This donation is not subject to the normal limits of adjusted gross income.

Donors should consult their advisers. For more information, contact Katherine Horoschak at (401) 341-2438 or katherine.horoschak@salve.edu.

As alumni, we have the great opportunity, and perhaps even the responsibility, to ensure that future Salve Regina students are able to access a world-class education that prepares them to be competitive and successful in the 21st century job market.
