FYE Assistant Program

FYE Assistants are students who successfully completed the student mentor program and have dedicated their academic year to helping the new mentors in their journey. They are available for both the First Year Experience Advisors and Mentors as resource guides.

They are available for ideas, brainstorming, creative activities and icebreakers, as well as class visits. They will be facilitators for the student mentor training in the fall. Throughout the year, the FYE Assistants will be on-call, so to speak for the support of the student mentors and the New Student Seminar Advisors. They may also be participating and co-facilitating different activities in the Student Mentor Practicum and New Student Seminar Advisor Meetings.
