The Higher Education Act requires the University to make a good faith effort to distribute voter registration forms to all enrolled students. Although the United States has the lowest voter turnout of all the major democracies in the world, studies show that registering voter is the key to increasing turnout.
It is important that you exercise your right to vote.
Students who wish to register to vote in Rhode Island must submit a Rhode Island Voter Registration Form. Print the form, complete and sign it and send it to the local Board of Canvassers for processing. State law does not permit registering to vote online.
