HISTORY

Since February 1994, the Circle has presented seminars and workshops on a broad spectrum of subjects including the following:

• A Window on the Middle East
• The Media and the News
• Current International Events in Review
• Architecture of Newport Churches
• History of Furniture Design, Construction and Restoration
• An Exploration of Homer's Odyssey
• Jazz Today
• The Cuban Metamorphosis
• The Best Foreign Films of the 21st Century
• The Fundamentals of Risk Management

Most seminars are held in the Young Building.

Seminars run on a weekly basis for two to eight weeks and cost $10 to $40 per seminar. Some of the seminars are facilitated by Salve Regina faculty, others by Circle members or guests who volunteer to conduct a seminar. If you have a special interest and wish to be a facilitator, let us know and we will forward more information to you.
