NATO Advanced Research Workshop 2009
The Pell Center for International Relations and Public Policy hosted 27 natural and social scientists from around the world to discuss ecosystem services and their benefit for human welfare.
We would like to thank the NATO Science for Peace and Security, United Nations Environment Programme, Desert Research Institute and the United States Environmental Protection Agency for supporting this workshop which allowed the Pell Center at Salve Regina University to continue an ongoing, complex and critically important dialogue.
We especially thank participants who travelled from five continents (Asia, Africa, Europe, the Americas and Oceania) to contribute and share their knowledge at Salve Regina University.
