Dr. Julie Matthews is a Senior Lecturer and Coordinator of Social and Community Studies at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
Her work appears in key journals, including: Globalisation, Societies and Education, and her co-edited collection Disrupting Preconceptions: Post Colonialism and Education was published in 2004. She holds two Australian Research Council (ARC) grants, one investigating reconciliation and pedagogy and the other in refugee education
