Ms. Froning is a policy analyst in the Center for International Trade and Economics of the Heritage Foundation in Washington, DC, specializing in trade and foreign aid. She also specializes in economic freedom issues and is one of the co-contributors to the Index of Economic Freedom, published annually by the Heritage Foundation and the Wall Street Journal. She is the author of the chapter on "A New Trade Agenda for America" of the Heritage book Priorities for the President (2001).
Ms. Froning holds degrees in the Plan II Honors Program and in history from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining Heritage, she worked in London and studied in Caen, France.
