The Neal Group

Ms. Neal is an award winning journalist, who now owns the media consulting firm, The Neal Group, based in Miami. She has vast expertise in diverse communications strategies. While with CNN for 16 years, she was awarded key assignments covering stories across the country and around the world.

Most recently she served as Producer/Correspondent in CNN's Miami Bureau. She was selected as a principal correspondent for the presidential campaign of 2000 and previously worked with Wolf Blitzer, producing the network's lead pieces on some of President Clinton's domestic problems.

Ms. Neal was CNN point person on U.S. Cuba issues, also covering international and domestic crises, e.g. the U.S. invasion of Panama, the Hurricane Mitch devastation in Honduras, the siege at Waco, the Oklahoma City bombing, and political and economic turmoil in Haiti. During the Gulf War, Ms. Neal served as Bureau Chief and correspondent in Cairo, specializing in diplomatic efforts to end the war. She also reported from Syria, Jordan and Israel. Prior to that, she served as Acting Bureau Chief and Correspondent in Jerusalem during a critical time of the Palestinian uprising. Ms. Neal served as Supervising Producer for CNN, overseeing the network's entire air product.
