The Office of Residential Life promotes a living and learning environment that enhances a student's ability to grow and develop within the Salve Regina community.
It supports the mission of the university by providing an environment conducive to the development of the educational, psychological and social development of residents. The department attempts to create and nurture this environment through encouragement of respect for the rights of the individual balanced with the rights and interest of the community as a whole.
All members of the residence hall community - residents, staff and visitors - are expected to act in a manner that demonstrates respect and consideration of those around them. Respect for community standards is crucial to the smooth functioning of daily living and to the achievement of community. Campus residency is not viewed as a right but a privilege earned by demonstrating a commitment to the University's community standards.
