Salve Regina University will continue its laptop initiative program with the class of new freshman students entering in the fall 2007 semester. Each student will be provided with an HP nc6400 laptop upon their arrival in the fall.

If your Salve Regina University provided, HP laptop needs warranty or service repairs or has become corrupt due to a Virus, Worm or Spyware, which requires re-imaging you must bring the laptop to the Student Laptop Center located in McKillop Library, Room 008. Any questions regarding the Laptop Program (hardware, software, or other) should be directed to the Office of Information Technology either by phone 401-341-7873 or email at laptops@salve.edu.

Note: Re-imaging erases the content of the hard drive, including your data, music, and pictures. In addition, you would be responsible for reloading any student-owned software.

If your computer is anything other than the required system, you may bring it to the Student Laptop Center in McKillop Library and ask for CompUtopia support.
