Both the Admissions office and the Financial Aid office have extensive web sites that are easily linked from the University's home site at www.salve.edu. There are numerous sets of information and forms available on the web pertaining to applying to Salve Regina University, investigating financial aid, exploring the housing offerings, involving parents, visiting our campus and meeting our admissions counselors.
All of the academic policies and procedures are available on the home web site, under the Registrar and Student Services link.
Each Salve Regina University student is provided with a user name and password to access his or her personal student information/data online on the MySalve portal. This includes confidential access to their schedule, grades, grade history and financial statement status.
Each student is provided with a user name and password to access their grades online through the MySalve portal after the end of the semester.
The electronic registration of courses (including dropping and adding capabilities) by using the internet has been implemented in production mode.
Currently students are able to pay their bills using online procedures provided by the Tuition Management Services (TMS) vendor. The financial aid office heavily uses internet procedures in the processing of loans. The campus bookstore vendor, Follett, has a web site that can be linked from the Salve Regina University MySalve portal site for the purchase of textbooks for courses.
Salve Regina University uses the SalveCard system to provide a multi-purpose ID card for its community members. The SalveCard can be used in the Library, the Rodgers Recreation Center, for meal plan tracking, for residence hall access, for debit card purchases and for vending machines. The system has been in effect since 1999.
