Salve Regina's IT office will serve as the warranty administrator for notebook repairs. If a problem occurs while on campus, you will be directed to the campus Student Laptop Support Center. If the problem occurs while you are off campus, please call (401) 341-7873 for further instruction.
What if I have a problem with the computer from working at home?
With the implementation of the laptop program, the IT staff have been instructed to re-image the laptop to its factory defaults in the event the laptop is unfixable through convential troubleshooting.
What if my laptop is stolen?
You are responsible for loss or theft of your laptop. You should check with your parents personal insurance agent as most homeowners’ or renters’ policies may cover theft or damage. If your parents do not have homeowners/renters coverage for theft or damage to laptops, it is highly advisable to purchase supplemental personal property insurance.
