Salve Regina University has recently undertaken a student laptop initiative in its efforts to further infuse technology into its academic programs. This program requires all incoming freshmen students and eligible tranfers to purchase a required laptop as designated by the university. This program aims to improve both the learning experience of its students and to improve the quality of technical support the university can offer.

This website provides important information about the program details, technical overview of the required laptop and about how to obtain additional accessories and services.

To facilitate this program the university has formed a partnership with Hewlett Packard to offer a top of the line laptop to its students at an affordable cost. All new laptops will come equipped with a pre-loaded software package designed to offer students the basic tools they will need while attending the school.
