Retirement Planning
The maximum amount an employee can contribute to his/her retirement plan for the calendar year 2010 is $16,500. This amount may be increased by $5,500 for employees aged 50 or older and/or by up to $3,000 for employees with 15 or more years of service with the University who have contributed, on average, less than $5,000 per year, limited to an additional lifetime maximum of $15,000. If you would like to change your retirement contribution, please complete a new form from the document library or call Claudia at ext. 2332.
Also, if you are a 'regular' employee working at least 1,000 hours a year and are not currently contributing, but would like to, please call Claudia at ext. 2332 for information and to open an account.
