The Free-for-all-Fitness Program will run from October 13 to December 5, 2008. Individuals interested in forming/joining their building's team should contact Kathleen Jackson at ext. 3160 before noon on October 10 to sign up. Individuals will receive log sheets in order to keep track of minutes exercised each week. Each team will need to select a leader  and create a team name.  Winners will be announced on December 9, 2008.

Retirement Planning

Many individuals are concerned with their retirement accounts and other investments given the recent market developments. In these turbulent times, individuals are reminded to stick with their long-term investment plan and diversify their holdings across a variety of asset classes. Individuals are also reminded to review their accounts annually and, if necessary, rebalance them.

Both TIAA-CREF and AIG/VALIC have updated their web sites to address participant concerns. If you would like to review your current allocations or have questions on your account, TIAA-CREF and AIG/VALIC consultants are ready to assist. TIAA-CREF's toll-free telephone counseling number is 1-866-681-0602 or you may log onto their website at www.tiaa-cref.org, click on meetings/counseling, and schedule an individual appointment with our representative, Allen Waters. AIG/VALIC's toll-free number is 1-800-448-2542 or you may schedule an individual appointment with our representative, Dan Samson, by calling 1-800-892-5558, voice mail 89648.
