ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS Guidelines for Fall 2008 Applicants Guidelines Form for Academic Scholarship Recipients $10,000 PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP Awarded to any admitted student who meets the following criteria: Has at least one of the following:
$8,000 TRUSTEES SCHOLARSHIP Awarded to any admitted student who meets the following criteria: Has at least one of the following:
$6,000 DEAN SCHOLARSHIP Awarded to any admitted student who meets the following criteria: Has at least one of the following:
Eligibility requires a completed admissions application received by our March 1 priority deadline. Only the critical reading and math sections of the SAT will be used to award scholarships for the Fall 2008 entering class. It is not necessary for students to fill out any other applications to be considered for these scholarships. Academic Scholarships are renewable for four years provided that the student maintains a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 at Salve Regina University. Academic Scholarships are
only awarded at the time of admission to Salve Regina. All Academic Scholarship recipients are eligible to apply for the Pell Honors Program. Aquidneck Island Multicultural Scholarship Regina Scholarship Regina Scholarships are awarded to the top students in each class each year based upon cumulative grade point average. These awards are announced each fall at Convocation. Additional criteria are available in the University undergraduate catalog.
