Federal PLUS Loan Lender List
PLUS Loans are Federal Loans borrowed by a parent on behalf of the student. Salve Regina students are free to choose any lender that participates in the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP). We provide a list of recommended PLUS Loan lenders below. These lenders have been chosen based on the remarkable customer service they offer our students.
Loans are disbursed electronically to our school, allowing funds to be posted directly to the student's account. Please click on the lender's name to start the application process. If you wish to use a lender not listed below, please e-mail the lender name and code to us at financial_aid@salve.edu. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Financial Aid.
The interest rate on the Federal PLUS Loan is fixed at 8.5%. A fee of 4.0%
will be deducted from the total amount requested.
Note: The fees include a 1% Lender Origination and 3% Federal Default fee, which will be deducted from the total PLUS loan amount. Lenders reserve the right to change or discontinue their Borrower Benefits and Fees.
