SERVICES FOR STUDENTS

Career Counseling

Students are urged to make an appointment to meet individually with one of our counselors. Counselors can give you options for career paths that match your interests, skills, and personality type. This service is free to enrolled Salve students and available to alumni for a nominal fee. To schedule an appointment with a counselor call (401) 341 – 2913 or stop by the Career Development Center, Miley Hall, Garden level.

CDC Counselors will:

• Provide a student with an unresolved declaration of major a Survey of Skills and Interests
• Assist with resume, cover letter, and job interviewing
• Offer for-credit and non-credit internships assistance in seeking opportunities and guidance in initial and follow-through processes
• Offer Occupational Outlook guidance
• Assist in preparing for a job fair

Office Hours:
8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday to Friday (Sept. to June)
Summer Hours: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday to Thursday
8 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday
