The true value of our moments… "Professor Bottari and how enthusiastic he was about teaching us biology. I remember that class vividly because of the obvious joy and pride he took in teaching. He genuinely tried to bring the material alive for us and fostered an interest in biology among his students. Of course, the view from our class room (Cliff Walk) was an added bonus."
"There are too many memories to choose just one. I loved living in Wakehurst my sophomore year. Our room was what is now the 'Global Café.' It's always exciting to tell people that you once lived in a Newport Mansion!" "It's difficult to choose 'a favorite memory' of Salve Regina. All my memories of Salve Regina are my favorite!" Ron Atkins found some chickens (yes, live chickens) and proceeded to spray them with fluorescent yellow paint. The "haunted Basement" was a huge success especially the chickens-running around glowing in the black lights that had been set up around the room. What a night!" "Being in the last class to occupy the dorm at Ochre Court and practicing late at night to elegantly walk the staircase to the Great Hall in anticipation of our Freshmen Cotillion! "The beautiful smiles and words of encouragement that we received from Sister Mary Constance and Sister Mary Christopher. They were wonderful sisters and [showed it] through their zeal to help students feel special and achieve their goals. They exemplified the true Mercy Charism." "Participating in the 'No-Talent' Talent Show sophomore year with Mary Beth Beretta, Jeanne Cioe, and Tracy Hasband as the Go-Go's. We sang (lip-synched) 'We Got the Beat' and came in second place." "All of our Senior Boat cruises and the other Senior activities we planned for our last semester together. And all of my great friends that I still have from Salve Regina!" "I can't be specific. My time at Salve Regina will always be treasured, but my sophomore year in Ochre Lodge with my roommates Cherry, Mel, and Lyn was the best of the best!"
