NEWPORT, R.I. – Salve Regina’s chapter of Toastmasters International will host the Area G4 International Speech Contest on Saturday, April 7 at 9:45 a.m. in Room 205 at the Rodgers Recreation Center.
Five clubs will compete on Saturday, including IDS Toastmasters from Raytheon, Toasters of ARI from Amgen, Toasted Peanuts from MetLife; Island Foghorns Toastmasters of Middletown and Salve Regina Toastmasters.
The public is invited to attend. Due to Toastmasters International regulations, no one will be allowed to enter once contest festivities begin at 9:45 a.m.
Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs.
