NEWPORT, R.I. – Members of the public are invited to join the Salve Regina University community on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. for an interfaith gathering to celebrate peace. Hosted by the university’s Mercy Center for Spiritual Life, the “Festival of Lights” celebration will be held in the Great Hall of Ochre Court, 100 Ochre Point Ave.
Free and open to the public, Festival of Lights brings together people of all faiths for an evening of songs, prayers and dances for peace.
