NEWPORT, R.I. – More than three dozen career practitioners representing all of the state’s higher education institutions will participate in the Rhode Island Career Counselor Consortium’s annual fall meeting on Friday, Dec. 7 at Salve Regina University.
The program, sponsored by Salve Regina’s career development center, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon in the state dining room of Ochre Court.
Brian Lamoureux, a partner at Pannone Lopes Devereaux & West L.L.C. in Providence will present the keynote lecture on social media legal issues. After Lamoureux’s talk, participants will break into facilitated roundtable discussion addressing current issues in career services, including legal issues in employment, career resources for veterans, and career advising with international students.
