Festival of Lights This is an Advent celebration commemorating various religious traditions of lighting candles. Traditions include Jewish, Shinto, Kwanzaa, Greek, Catholic and others. Inter-religious Luncheon Each spring members of various religions gather with the Salve community to share traditions and enjoy a simple meal. Senior Remembrance In the spirit of the mission of Mercy and the quest for wisdom, Senior Remembrance honors and celebrates the personal achievements of senior students during their time at SRU. The Remembrance celebration unites us in prayer and thanksgiving as we acknowledge the growth and unfolding of the Senior as a human being during these four crucial years of life. Faculty and Staff join in the celebration that takes place on the Sunday of Senior Week and constitutes the beginning of the week–long celebration of Commencement.
