The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a student-driven organization that strives to provide a diverse and continuous roster of programming for the Salve Regina community. Events sponsored by CAB seek to fulfill the ideals of the University mission and provide opportunities for students to enhance and complement their campus experience.
More than 40 students hold membership in the Campus Activities Board. Each member works closely with one of seven CAB committees, all with different objectives and goals. Committees include:
Comedy
If you ever need a laugh, the comedy committee delivers. Beyond stand-up comics, the committee seeks to bring everything that draws a laugh, including game shows, improv troupes, magicians and more.
Concerts
Live music provides a thrill that never seems to disappoint. That’s why the concert committee presents small concerts throughout the year, along with April’s big Spring Concert.
Outdoor
The outdoor committee leads trips for students to have fun beyond four walls. Trips have included zip-lining, whitewater rafting and overnight ski trips. Don’t stay in, go outdoors.
Spotlight
CAB’s newest committee sheds light on some of today’s hottest topics, including alcohol consumption and diversity, all in interactive settings.
Special Events
The special events committee always serves a smash hit with Things for Thursday novelties like the sign shop and Spike’s hot dogs along with additional events such as the Halloween Dance and SnoBall. No one should miss out on any of them.
Travel
The travel committee organizes monthly trips to the best spots in New England and beyond, from the Bronx Zoo to the Boston Bruins to Broadway musicals. Minimum cost for maximum fun.
