Certificate of Graduate Studies (CGS) in International Relations
The certificate in International Relations is designed for individuals who are not matriculated in
the M.A. program but wish to discover how their educational and professional interests relate or
are affected by major events taking place around them and in the world beyond. Twelve credit
hours are required for the certificate, at least six of which must be taken from the core curriculum.
Certificate of Graduate Studies in Homeland Security
(4 courses/12 credits)
The certificate in Homeland Security is designed for individuals who are not matriculated in the M.A. program but wish to discover how their professional interests are affected by critical events taking place around them and in the world beyond. Twelve credit hours are required for the certificate: INR512: Justice and Order in International Relations, INR516: Identity, Harmony and Conflict, ADJ/INR552: Terrorism and Transnational Crime, and ADJ518: Public Policy and the Justice System: Managing Homeland Security in a Multicultural Society.
