Holistic Leadership Program
As a complement to the holistic counseling program, the 48-credit course in Holistic Leadership will help prepare graduate students to become effective leaders within their own workplace. The new program will introduce holistic concepts and skills that will be useful in all fields, including education, human service, business, government, ministries, the arts and all forms of creative vocations.
The holistic leadership program formulated from the ideas of faculty members in the holistic counseling program. They based the program on a helix model representing the strategic vision for the future of the program. The five levels of the helix include:
- Personal development
- Individual consultation skills
- Small system skills
- Large systems skills
- Working for global change
The holistic leadership program is open to anyone with a bachelor's degree in any field. In addition, students who already have a master's degree from an accredited institution can complete a 15-credit certificate of graduate studies.
