Certificate of Graduate Studies (CGS) in Healthcare Administration and Management

The Certificate of Graduate Studies in Healthcare Administration & Management is designed to meet the educational and career needs of individuals who are currently working in health care or a related area. The certificate program offers opportunities for those who desire continued professional development without formal pursuit of a master’s degree.

Upon successful completion of four designated courses, approved by the Director, students will be awarded a CGS in Health Services Administration. Should a student desire to continue in the master's program, they must complete the application process, and if accepted, the courses already completed will be applied to the Health Services Administration program.

  • HSA 501: Introduction to Health Services (3 credits)
  • HSA 505: Health Care Marketing (3 credits)
  • HSA 519: Health Care Finance (3 credits)
  • HSA 543: Public Health Administration (3 credits)
