Programs: Law Enforcement Leadership
Program Requirements
Students interested in earning a Master of Science in Management: Concentration in Law
Enforcement Leadership may satisfy degree requirements by completing 36 credit hours of
work. Salve Regina undergraduates may enroll in the Five-Year Program. (see below).
Following completion of an approved program of study and all degree requirements, students
qualify for the Master of Science degree. Students are encouraged to contact their advisors to
select the specific courses in electives that meet individual needs for their educational and
career goals.
Five-Year Program
Salve Regina University offers an accelerated M.S. in Management: Concentration in Law
Enforcement Leadership program for highly motivated and qualified undergraduates that
culminate in conferral of the bachelor's and master's degrees. Students with a grade point
average of at least 3.30 may apply to the five-year program by March 15 of the junior year.
Approved applicants take four graduate courses, approved by the Director, during the senior
year. Recommended graduate courses for two of the four in the senior year are: ADJ 505
Constitutional Issues in Law Enforcement: Constitutional Law and Civil Liability and ADJ 521
Management Issues in Law Enforcement. Final program acceptance is contingent upon fulfilling
undergraduate degree requirements and completing the four graduate courses. To complete the
master's degree in the fifth-year, students take eight graduate courses for a total of 152 credits.
