DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE

Continuing Education

Throughout its history, Salve Regina University has sought to address the needs of adult learners by offering programs in the Liberal Arts and professional development through evening courses and courses that meet at convenient off-campus locations. In 1997, the University added the alternative of extension study.

In the undergraduate Continuing Education program, students have the opportunity to take advantage of courses offered in compressed eight-week sessions, or through extension study. Classes meet at a satellite location or here on our Newport campus. Our purpose is to enable students to fulfill their goals and ambitions, to develop the art of critical thinking and to clarify and define this art within the context of Catholic values thus extending the mission of the University.

I anticipate that each new student who becomes a part of the Salve Regina University community through the Continuing Education program will experience the dedication and commitment of our faculty and staff. I know you will find that their commitment extends far beyond the boundaries of a classroom as they work with you to help you attain your goals. I wish you God’s blessing in your pursuit of excellence through Salve Regina University.

Thomas Sabbagh, Ph.D.
