March Into Reading! 2005 - A Children's Book Festival is organized by ACE school librarians and Salve Regina University. ACE is an association of Aquidneck Island educational institutions including early childhood centers, independent, parochial and public schools, Salve and the US Naval War College.

The mission of ACE is to strengthen existing relations among the educational institutions, to promote education as a community value, to provide opportunities for professional development and instructional advancement, to share facilities and resources and to foster communication among the educational institutions and within the community. It is with this mission in mind that ACE, in collaboration with Salve Regina University brings March into Reading! to Aquidneck Island on March 4 & 5, 2005. Rhode Island's First Lady, Mrs. Susan Carcieri, is the honorary chair of this event that highlights the importance of reading in our families.
