We believe that this approach to education best prepares graduates for career opportunities and develops awareness of their responsibilities as citizens. The business – economics curriculum provides a solid foundation of courses based on known requirements that meet current needs and anticipate the demands of the global business community for creative, culturally aware individuals with strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Professional competencies are developed through courses that place emphasis on critical thinking, research, resource allocation, teamwork, decision making, ethics and personal accountability. Students are encouraged to further enhance their educational experience by taking additional courses of study leading to the earning of minors in other areas of academic and personal interest. Salve Regina University’s business degrees are accredited by the IACBE, the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education, a premier, professional accrediting body that utilizes outcome assessment to evaluate program effectiveness.
