Sheryl Maree Reily was born in the South Pacific but for the past 20 years has called Alaska her home. Sheryl and her husband Geoff work as a photographic team. Her personal projects include digital photography, Polaroid and alternative process. Sheryl is best known as a fine arts & documentary photographer for her portrayal of people. Themese in her work span from creating representations of religious inconography and archetypes to documenting interpersonal relationships. Sheryl works both in color and B&W, often using a variety of post camera techniques to assemble the final image. A style trademark of her work is the blending of photographic processes with the surface treatment of an image using materials and techniques of traditional art disciplines.
