BRADY SCHOLARSHIPS Every year, a select group of administration of justice majors are presented with $10,000 in scholarships from the Stephen J. Brady and Frances M. Brady Scholarship Fund. The Brady Scholarships were started in 2002 by Michael Brady, an assistant professor in the ADJ department, to honor his parents, both of whom are still living. Brady wanted to recognize everything they contributed and sacrificed to provide their children with the opportunities to succeed and excel, and he transferred close to $5,000 of his own salary to start the scholarship, which he continues to fund fully. The Stephen J. Brady and Frances M. Brady Scholarship Awards are available on a competitive basis to students who meet the eligibility requirements. To be considered for the award, students must be administration of justice majors with at least 30 credits and a minimum GPA of 3.0. Students are selected based on essays they write and on their financial need. The recipients of the 2004 scholarship awards were: Jason Boss, Andrea Satterly, Lindsay Connolly, Jamie Fields, Lisa Pokorny, Maria Jones, Brandon Galvin, Ashley Miller, Amy Tubman, Matilda Mutanguha, Lindsay Hogan, Paul Grosso, Rebekah Goncarovs, and Kristen Gworek.
